Overview
The emerging business of Biotechnology is becoming increasingly significant as it provides modern medicine new opportunities beyond commonly understood pharmaceutical treatments. Professional opportunities are unlimited and require individuals with a new skill set.
Academy students will learn about the world of developing Biopharmaceuticals (drugs made from living organisms) through tours, projects, and meeting ‘Biotech’ professionals. They will also develop necessary competencies that position them for college or Biotech-related certifications.
