Each year, the Philadelphia Academies, Inc. and Independence Blue Cross host the All Academies Speech Competition. This event, open to 9th and 10th graders, provides students with the opportunity to present their speeches on stimulating topics, to a diverse group of prominent business leaders. Students will be judged on their presentation, control, articulation, volume, energy and poise. The students are judged and awarded prizes at this wonderful event. Numerous career opportunities are derived out of this event, including internships, speaking engagements, student leadership positions and mentoring from corporate professionals.
