Despite increases in Philadelphia high-school graduation rates, employers and students are discovering that graduates are not career ready. Pre-apprenticeship programs address this challenge by providing an intentional bridge from school to work.
With almost 50 years of experience creating career-connected learning opportunities, PAI works in partnership with industry and schools to help you develop and implement a competency-based, transformative pre-apprenticeship bridge program.
These programs create a bridge from school to work as they prepare students with the necessary skill sets to successfully enter post-secondary training, apprenticeships and/or the workforce upon high-school graduation.
Pre-apprenticeship programs support students and the local economy by addressing the need for a diversified and qualified workforce and by creating access to life-sustaining wages and career advancement for young people.
